Refugee Speakers Bureau Showcase: In Celebration of World Refugee Day

Join us for a powerful evening of storytelling from the newest members of the Colorado Refugee Speakers Bureau. This event centers refugees’ voices in recognition of World Refugee Day 2023. Speakers in this newest cohort come from Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ukraine, and Vietnam and bring an incredible diversity of lived experience and stories. Come to listen, learn and be changed by this event.

Admission includes alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and heavy appetizers from local refugee and immigrant chefs. 

This event is co-hosted by Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains, International Rescue Committee, ECDC/African Community Center, and Colorado Refugee Connect.
