If asked about the state of your physical, emotional, or spiritual health you’d have an answer, places to work on them (a gym, therapist, religious institution) and the expectation that when you left these places, you’d feel better than when you entered. But what about your civic health? This monthly event provides a local space to exercise civic health by combining necessary community issues with inventive programs, engaging participants where they already are: the revolution shouldn’t be exclusive or boring! Warm Cookies of the Revolution is an antidote to the loneliness that comes with Facebook and other online interactions. It is a place for human connection as well as fun and engaging programming for social change.
