Denver Public Art invites you to learn about the public art program and application process.
The first workshop in a series of three, this workshop will cover all the steps in applying for a project, including preparing a statement and photos, and dos and don'ts. We will discuss examples of successful public art applications, and hear tips for highlighting your qualifications and best work. After the presentation, attendees will have the chance to meet fabricators, commissioners, public artists, representatives from callforentry.org (CaFé), regional public art program managers and the Denver Public Art team. Artists who have never received a public art commission, or have never applied for one, are highly encouraged attend.
